Going to New Zealand

It's official, I landed teaching gig at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. I will teach two courses over their winter semester from mid-July to mid-October. I will return stateside in November. Please send me any odd facts you have about New Zealand.

Blitzen

I am happy to report that my dog is recovering well. For those of you that haven't heard, Blitzen had a bizarre reaction to his annual immunizations. During his illness he lost a whopping 20 pounds. I am now affectionately calling him Skeletor. Blitzen is doing much better and will be out and about soon. I will post pictures of his recovery soon.
